Opening night

The Stanley Cup Championship banner will be raised on October 4th in a game against Buffalo. Buffalo's last game of the regular season and in the playoffs was at the RBC. It's an interesting note for both teams to start the season on.

An interesting thing to keep in mind too - where was Carolina's first game last season? Tampa, to see the Lightning raise their championship banner. Food for thought.
