I saw this on Kukla's Corner and thought I would comment.
The Stars welcomed their fans back for the first preseason game by having every player not in the game that night act as greeters on the concourse. They welcomed people coming in the door, handed out schedules, signed autographs and generally hung out. What a great idea! According to the video, it was the players' idea. You can't buy positive PR in your market like that.
