Bayda wins

Another rounds of cuts, answering questions to some tight battles for spots. We have our forward lines and it looks like Bayda won out over Isbister and Willis. Good for him. The forward lines will look something like this:

Staal (C) - Cole, [Walker/Ladd/Bayda]
Brind'Amour (C) - Williams, [Walker/Ladd/Bayda]
Letowski (C) - Whitney, [Walker/Ladd/Bayda]
K Adams (C) - LaRose, C Adams

Since Bayda is the last forward in, it might be easier to plug him up with the big boys until Stillman gets back and let Ladd and Walker gel with their linemates. I'm sure we'll know more on Friday at the next pre-season game against Columbus.

We still have nine defensemen, but with all of the lingering injuries that isn't surprising. Walser was sent down, but he had a good camp. The word is that he's having some groin issues, so I don't know how big of a factor that was in being sent to Albany.
