Dying of the light

Things look pretty bleak. The team is not dead, especially with so many head-to-head matchups against division rivals remaining, but last night's embarassment against Philadelphia certainly didn't help matters. Atlanta picked up a point and the Canes are now down to 11th because of games in hand to teams above them.

I only saw the first period and a snapshot of the second (when Philly scored goal #2) as I had a game of my own last night.
