A local rec hockey player, David Paul, was the victim of a home invasion in July. His apartment was broken into, he was beaten up, his throat was slit, and he was left to die. Luckily, he managed to call 911 and he lived through it. All four men responsible have since been arrested, but he has over $51,000 in medical bills and no insurance.
There is a benefit hockey game this Friday, 9/1 @ 7:45 PM, at the RecZone in Raleigh. I am trying to get more information as to a general fund or account for which donations can be made.
