It seems all I've been writing about lately is sports. The Hurricanes are in a never-ending battle for respect in the NHL. No one in the media gave them a chance at the beginning of the season and no one wants to give them any credit now. People cannot believe how good this team is, even as they prove it night-in and night-out.
The Canes traveled into Philadelphia tonight and beat a very, very good Flyers team in a shootout, 4-3. This team has got all cylinders firing right now and they are slowly getting healthier each day.
It's windy as hell out right now - there was a wind advisory issued earlier tonight. It was game night, so everyone was over to play. Christian came over with Matt so she could thank us in person for the tickets to the Nashville game. Since Elizabeth is working Thursday, I sold them the tickets for the Islanders game while they were here. Athena can use the sleep.
